Mom and Dad

I've finally come to this
Point in my life, where I need
To make my own decisions and
Take the road I choose.
I just want to thank you
For these 18 years.
Through the bad and good
Times you have always been
There for me.
This does not mean that I
No longer need the old folkies.
Mom you'll always be there
When I need a hug.
And my steady shoulder to cry on.
Dad you'll always be my
Pillar of advice.
Like a coke machine,
You always get value for your money.
Thanks again for everything!
You have given me all the gear I need to
Start my journey in life!
