Words of Encouragement

encouragement
n 1: the expression of approval and support [ant: discouragement] 2: the act of giving hope or support to someone [syn: boost] 3: the feeling of being encouraged

Think back to when you were a kid, and the words of encouragement you got from your dad, mom, teacher... and even later, as an adult, words of encouragement from a boss, a coach, and especially from a loved one.

This is where the power of words is unquestionable - being encouraged when a job or task is done well; it gives us such a boost to our confidence, and makes life a pleasure to live.

Peaceful and relaxing

And you, always look at where you can give words of encouragement to a loved one, a friend... heck, even a stranger you meet. You'll be giving a gift that has no price.

Here you'll find words of encourgement that can be used and shared for any number of circumstances.

It may be an article... a quote... or an excerpt from a great book... wherever you find words of encouragement, take them, use them, share them, and discover the joy and reward you get.

May you experience the best that can be.

Take Hold Of Every Moment
A friend of mine opened his wife's underwear drawer and picked up a silk paper wrapped package.
"This," he said, "isn't any ordinary package."
He unwrapped the box and stared at both the silk paper and the box.

Encouragement
Everyone needs encouragement. So many people in this world feel discouraged, pressed in, cornered, unworthy, unlovable, or completely overwhelmed by the circumstances of their lives. You can make a difference in one moment if you will honestly and sincerely encourage them. Let them know that they are capable, that they can do the task before them.

10 Ways To Show Encouragement To Others
I have never met anyone who did not like to be praised. Some find it harder than others to accept praise or can be embarrassed by praise but we all like to have some. Praise is something which we can all give freely. This will make the other person feel good and you yourself will benefit from knowing that you are responsible for having had this effect.

Classic Parenting - Encouragement
Encouragement comes when you focus on your child's assets and strengths in order to build his/her self-confidence. It comes from seeing the positive. Even failures can be outstanding learning experiences. Encouragement sounds like this, "I like the way that you did that," or "I know that you can do it," or, "It looks like you worked very hard at that."

Embracing Encouragement
One of the most powerful forces in our lives is encouragement. Encouragement is so important because it is life-altering. Not only for the person who gets it...but also for the one who gives it.

Writing Letters of Encouragement
You can begin writing letters of encouragement and strength by thinking faith-filled thoughts. Then, act with faith in your ideas, talent, and purpose. Helping others receive encouragement will create self-encouragement and reveal the blessings that your unique purpose will bring to the world.
